I decided to do a photo shoot with Courtney Harman at Curve Collection Boudoir VIP as a surprise for my husband.

Turns out I really did this as a gift to myself.

I have always had body issues , I’ve been overweight since I was 10. I was teased about my big nose and called “Dino” the dog in junior high. I always just believed I was fat and ugly.

I have wanted to do a boudoir shoot for over 20 years but was waiting until I lost more weight …. I thought, if I wait the pictures will be sexier.

I have been fighting with that inner child that believes she is fat, ugly and worthless for a long time and I’ve been fighting equally as hard to lift her up and let her know how fucking amazing , beautiful, smart, sexy and fabulous she is right now!

I have never felt more beautiful, sexy and simply incredible as I did while doing this shoot . The best fucking therapy I could have ever done for myself .

As much as I feel I need and want that validation from others, the most important person I need to get that love and validation from is me!!

Courtney has blown me away with her boudoir skills! I booked a session with her as a gift to myself for my 30th birthday. I told Courtney this, and told her I didn’t really have anything specific in mind besides that. She came with balloons, champagne, and was ready to celebrate with me!

I brought all the outfits I liked and she helped me pick the best ones, giving me a variety of colors and styles I got to wear during the shoot. She made me feel like a damn goddess the whole time, and I genuinely cannot recommend Courtney enough! It was well worth the extra money to have my hair and make up done, giving me a whole day of feeling sexy and beautiful. She was fun, comfortable, and easy to work with and I will absolutely be recommending her to anyone and everyone looking for boudoir photography.
